Liara T'Soni in Studio SVS
Farah Sara Kurnik aka Liara T'Soni (2000) is a visual artist from Ljubljana, who works in the fields of graphic and industrial design, set design, video, 3D design and new technologies. She is currently studying at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, specialising in graphic and media technology. She has designed many graphic identities for current Slovenian and foreign musicians, music events and exhibitions, where she often also takes on the role of a VJ. In 2021, she presented her work at the 34th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts ISKRA DELTA and in the same year co-organised and directed the Bilanca series of music events at Cukrarna Bar. In 2022, in collaboration with FrešTreš, she contributed the visual image in the form of installations and video projections for the theatre performance Zadnji naj ugasne luč [Last One, Switch Off the Light] at the Prešeren Theatre Kranj and created the visual image, set design and video material for the performance Da te ni sram [Shame on You] at the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre. In 2021, she exhibited her co-authored intermedia project Cambrian Interfaces at the MediaNox gallery, and in 2023, she presented her solo exhibition Inventory Check at the DobraVaga gallery as part of the UNM series of exhibitions. She is a member of the Ljubljana-based collective Nimaš izbire.
