Step away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take a stroll along the enchanting Jakopič Promenade, beautifully decorated for the festive season, to visit the International Centre of Graphic Arts and explore the 35th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts.

The theme of the Biennale coincides with the festive spirit of friendship, solidarity and giving. It is conceived as a void and a space of potentiality that contains the possibility of transforming the void into the gifts of the cosmos. Artistic Director Ibrahim Mahama sees the Biennale as an opportunity to revitalise past connections and strengthen transnational alliances. The main exhibition, on show at various venues across the city, features the work of more than 50 artists drawing from the pool of connections between contemporary art and printmaking within the fields of architecture, design, agriculture and botany.

Tuesday to Sunday, 10.00–18.00

24 and 31 December, 10.00–14.00

25 December and 1 January, closed
